Enjoy a runway of custom-designed fashion worn and created by Indigenous people, followed by a Trunk Show where you can purchase looks straight from the runway. Check the website for more details. Coming soon. About the Event: Kananesgi is the Cherokee word for spider. The spider was chosen because, in Cherokee culture, the spider represents creativity and being good with your hands. Some Cherokee will even run their babies hands through spider webs to embed that creativity into their children.
